Spent time at Dartmouth in New Hampshire as a guest of the . Featured speaker at DLSLUG meeting, which was a GREAT group of people. Thanks Alex Langsner for hosting me. Also met with women in science, and with post grad women who had so much to offer to the world! I found it a treat to share time with women who have their heads on and who are planning to take science opportunities by storm! Highlight of course was time with Professor Bill McKeamon, who gives Dartmouth the value of his experience and his wisdom.
SWE, the Society of Women Engineers, hosted me at their monthly meeting in March, and the potential of many of these women makes me want to just keep talking to women in engineering. Engineering is SUCH fun that it is a shame that more women don't consider it when planning their future. Hope to keep encouraging women to do so. Men seem to find great places in engineering if they have the aptitude.
